In Sparwood Brendan Nemes double overtime goal gave Fernie a 3-2 win over the Golden Rockets.
David Lenzin and Nikolas Sombrowski with the game tying goal in the third scored the other Fernie goals and Justin Faiella had the win in net stopping 20 of 22 shots.
Golden’s Ryan Baker stopped 51 of 54 shots to give the Rockets at least a point and a shot at two points on the road.

In Invermere the Rockies Fraser McMann had the hat-trick and Ben Kelsch stopped 30 of 34 shots for the win 6-4 win against Spokane.
