Zach Befus from Dan Burgess and Evan Traverse scored first then Aidan Wilson tied the game while Shorthanded. The game sheet times may be wrong, on the radio it sounded like they scored mid third.
The Riders lost in the OT but got 1 point and are now in third. To keep third they have to finish ahead of the Rockies who lost at home to Creston last night, if the teams tie the Rockies get 3rd because they have more wins. The Rockies are in Creston tonight and Fernie is in Sparwood and will play Kimberley who needs the win to guarantee 1st overall ahead of Osoyoos.
Riders were without Coleton Dawson, Cole Keebler and Alex Cheveldave but get Cheveldave back tonight and they'll need all the help they can get after getting stuck in the pass because of snow and not getting home till 8 AM.
Brandon Butler had the win in net and was named as the Player of the Game. Butler stoned the Nitros Feb 5th in Kimberley by stopping 35 in a garbage and beer filled 4-2 win. Coach Mohr will have a hard decision on his starter tonight in Sparwood although back to back after 8 hrs on the bus may factor into it.
