In Invermere Riley Fonger with his second shutout in a row leads the Ghostriders to a 4-0 win in Invermere. The Riders now have commanding 3-0 first round series lead over the Rockies. The series resumes Saturday March 2 in Invermere.
The Ghostriders Brendan Nemes from Nikolas Sombrowski and Sawan Gill scored the opening goal on the power play late in the first period.
In the second Gavin Lawrie from Tyler Witzke made it 2-0 then Nikolas Sombrowski from Sawan Gill and Kyle Ford made it 3-0.
In the third Kyle Ford from Keelan Saworski sealed the deal and a 4-0 win
The shots were 44 38 Rockies and the Riders went 1-3 on the PP and killed both CVR power play opportunities.
