Riders got a 7-2 win against Golden and the game star was Justin Peers who had 4 A in his first game back since an injury took him out a month or so ago. Personally I would have picked Dustin Watt who fought the much larger Sean Ripley in the third after Ripley had spent the entire night playing on the edge with border line slashes hits from behind elbows and charges. He was called on a couple of things but after another huge hit (charge, boarding) on Georgopoulos in the third Watt answered the bell. Ripley wasn't the only one doing it and every time I see a game like that I can't help but remember the old days when we had a couple of guys that took care of those type of players...... but Hockey Canada has them pretty well legislated out of the game.
