Ghostriders are in Invermere Friday then home to Revy Saturday

The Riders are in Invermere Friday night and Rockies Coach Wade Dubielewicz says “I’m really excited about (our upcoming games because) we’re going to have two good tests: Fernie and Kimberley. The things we’ve been working on and continually getting better at are going to be put to the test against both of those teams.” Full Story by Breanne Massy Here

These teams have not played yet in the regular season and Invermere has played some good teams very close so far this season, so this should be a good one and fans from both teams can watch the game on the KIJHL website or listen to the game on The Drive 99.1 right here.

On Saturday

The Ghostriders play the Revelstoke Grizzlies Saturday here in Fernie and this is the only time that Revelstoke will play here this season. The Riders play in Revelstoke on Saturday November 28th.
The Grizz were in Kimberley last night and played two games last weekend, they defeated Columbia Valley 7-4 in Invermere and lost 4-3 at home to Kimberley. Their record after last weekend was 2-3 and they were in fourth place in their division.
Revelstoke is privately owned and Ryan Parent is the Head Coach and GM.

The Ghostriders  played two games last weekend, they won 6-3 in Golden and lost 3-2 in overtime here in Fernie last Saturday against the 100 Mile House Wranglers .

After last weekend the Riders had a 3-1-0-1 record and were firmly in third place just one point behind Creston and 5 behind Kimberley, but Kimberley had played 3 more games.
Team Captain Cole Keebler leads the Riders in scoring with 9 goals and 2 assists in his first 5 games. Justin Peers is next with 7 points while Zach Befus has 2 goals and 2 assists in three games.

The Riders have been plagued with injuries early in the season but are slowly healing up. Spencer Bender, Tayler Sincennes, Kyle Haugo, Jacen Richards and Aidan Wilson are all in the sick bay this week, but are possibles for the weekend. Justin Peers will be available Saturday after serving 2 games for a check to the head in Golden. The Ghostriders signed Alex Cheveldave last Tuesday, he is a 19 year old forward with Junior “A” experience in Yorkton and Drayton Valley.
