The Eddie Mountain Breakdown

The Ghostriders were leading 2-0 until halfway through the third when Creston’s Jonathan Lee (who came to Creston via trade from Kelowna in the summer) scored on the power play then with 4:45 left Grant Iles tied the game.

In the second OT Thomas Cankovic scored on the power play for Creston’s 3rd win of the year.

The Ghostriders Aidan Wilson from Ben Sushkovsky scored in the first period then Ty Carron from Ryan Kennedy and Derek Green got the Riders up 2-0 in the second. The Riders outshot Creston 41-34 and both goalies were named as the Players of the Game, Brandon Butler for the Riders and Brock Lefebvre (who started the season with 2 shutouts) for the Thunder Cats.

The Riders were 0-5 and Creston was 2-6 on the power play. The Riders earned a point and have a 1-1-0-1, record, good for 3 points. 

Six different Dynamiters score and Kimberley outshot Golden 36-19 for their second win of the year. The game was tied at 3 late in the second before Kimberley scored 3. 

Few penalties and James Farmer with a goal and an assist was their Player of the Game. Russian Katsnelson was in net for the Nitro’s. Scott Latwat scored 2 and added an assist for the Rockets.


Grand Forks blasts the hometown Rockies 7-1. This game was never in doubt, the Bruins had period leads of 2-0 and 5-0 and outshot the Rockies 41-30. Trey Mason had 2 goals and 2 assists in the win and Anthony Galliart had the win in net.
