Riders get a 2-0 road win in Golden

The Ghostriders win 2-0 in Golden

The Ghostriders peppered Rocket goalie Owen Sikkes (98) with 37 shots but according to the Rockets Twitter, Sikkes was performing hi way robbery and the riders could only score two goals... however, that was all they needed, and the boys got a much needed 2-0 win.  Brandon Butler got his second KIJHL shutout as well stopping 14 Rocket shots.

Ty Carron from Aidan Wilson scored in the first period on the power play and Mitch Titus scored in the second from Kevin Pierce for a 2-0 lead that they would hang on to for the win.

The win gives the Riders 5 points, all on the road, and keeps them in the chase... with a ton of home games coming up starting...
